In day-to-day life, we often don’t get the opportunity to slow down and be with ourselves. In therapy, we create a reflective space where we get to unpack and process past experiences, experiences that have shaped who we are today.
We gain insight into how we became our present-day selves. Why we act the ways we do, why we seem to repeatedly engage in the same relational dynamics, and why we have learned particular coping mechanisms.
